It's Hottie Time.....

We can tell it's getting colder as after baths and stories we're wanting our hotties to snuggle up in bed with:

And also because Bambi across the road keeps his racket up for most of the day and half of the night:

Look Who's Coming To Dinner.....

We were stoked to have the cousin visit us tonight for dinner - but I think he would have been pretty stoked to get back to his volleyball team after the folks round here wore him out:

Saying Goodbye.....

We called down to the neighbours' this morning to say Goodbye to their dog, Mate:

He was 105! in human years - 15 in dog years:

Secondary Schools Volleyball Champs.....

We went along to cheer for Da Cuzzin and his school team this week - they weren't doing exceptionally well (although the only game they won is the one we *didn't* attend) but it was good to catch up with him.

It was a great learning curve too, as we now know a WHOLE lot more about volleyball than we ever knew before.

Luckily for the team, they were oblivious to my little skirt-tucked-into-the-knickers-after-the-loo incident ;o)

Mudslide!.....

Well, it turns out that after we couldn't get permission - council, developer or otherwise - to actually *hold* a mudslide, we had to resort to a giant waterslide:

The Fire Service came and put a pump into the stream to start the fun gushing, and when they were calling for volunteers to test the route of the slide, L9 was the first to disrobe and give it a go:

The 200+ kids had an absolute ball, and the slide had to be repaired a total of three times over the four hours!

L4 took a l-o-n-g time to get his courage up, but when he finally decided to give it a go, he was unstoppable:

To continue the wet and wild theme there was also "Sumo Wrestling" - complete with dishwashing liquid to help you keep your footing - NOT!:

And there was also the Horizontal Bungee - trying to s-t-r-e-t-c-h yourself to grab the lollipop before you are bounced right back to whence you came:

And there was the Water Transfer game - 15 cups along a length of rope that goes round corners and up and down valleys - you need to pour the water from one cup to the next along the series and see how much you have left at the end:
