Getting Crafty.....

We headed out to Te Puke this morning to participate in some crafty salt-dough moulding:


The idea was to take an object from nature to look at and study the form of, then try and create something from the dough using the form of the object - in this case a ponga frond in a koru pattern:





And we tried out hand at an interpretation of a sunflower also:


After morning tea and a blast on the playground, we made some paper lanterns that L10 had seen in a book and wanted to make:
