Blowing Eggs.....

Take one tray of eggs:


A *sinful* amount of chocolate (we're all about the Whittakers in our house - my Grandmother still lives just down the road from the Whittakers Factory in Elsdon. Someone gifted us the Cadbury's Peppermint, so we couldn't be rude, could we?):


Decide that there's too much of my father in me and it would be just *too* wasteful to banish all those egg innards to the dog. Decide to rig the balloon pump so that it does all the huffing and puffing, sans everyone spit and hoik, thereby rendering the eggies still useable:



Melt copious amounts of chocolate, bit by one egg quantity bit:


Fill the eggs very painstakingly, making sure you don't spill any. Do all this while vowing to oneself not to do all this mucking around next year:


The recipients (the various cuzzies) were stoked to receive our hand-decorated, solid chocolate-filled Easter Eggs, for the record.
