Animals, Animals.....

While we were waiting for H7 to finish Brownies, we wandered round the Polytech's animal enclosures. It was a bit hard to get good photos through the wire-netting, so they look a bit blurred as the camera tried to focus beyond:




These baby quail were incredibly tiny, it's hard to judge size in these photos (to give you some idea, the wire had squares about 1cm wide and tall), but they were almost like a cotton ball with legs and a wee beak:




L9 was in horsey-heaven:


There's something about a pig that I love (is it something to do with bacon, I wonder? Or maybe we're kindred spirits, lol!):


Then, bonus! We picked H7 up and this beautiful (and expensive - $2,500!) St. Bernard puppy was there:
