Messy Play.....

We were all inspired after our party at Playcentre on Sunday (L9 has one of her creations she came home with displayed prominently at the mo):


And so we decided to do some Messy Play this morning - Gloop, Gloop and More Gloop! Today's 'flavours' were Pink and Baby Blue - gloop is so easy to make (mix cornflour with a little water (not too sloppy, now!) and add a bit of colouring if you wish) and has such a marvellous texture, it *looks* slimey but it feels very dry, you can momentarily shape it into a ball, before it drips and oozes back out through your fingers:






Clean-up was great fun, of course, and I was certainly glad we'd opted for the 'outside' venue, lol! Back inside, then, we did some painting. It's been far too long since we've had little people's paintings drying on the line with our washing:
