Apple Pie.....

A12 has been asking to make an apple pie all week, even though I explained to him that it is not apple season here and I didn't really want to pay a premium for imported American apples just so he could make a pie (he didn't want the canned or frozen options). I found some early new season NZ apples today, sso I bought them and he made his apple pie:
